Our Goal
To Raise Funds for Our Local Humane Societies
Welcome to the second annual "All Paws on Deck" Event from Camas High School DECA. This event was created in 2019 to bring members of community to create change and raise money for our local humane societies. We raised a total of $1,894 and giving a $947.41 check to each humane societies. We hope to raise over $2,000 this year.
2020
This year due to Covid-19 we are unable to hold an in person event like we hosted last year. All Paws on Deck has gone viral this year so we can keep raising money for out four legged community member at our local humane societies.
This year the dog mayor will be decided by the dog who raises the most money. The application link is on under the dog mayor tab or you can click on the dog above to go there. Additional Donations will be accepted starting October 20th-30th. We are holding free instagram events for anyone to participate in starting October 20th as well. We are looking forward to this event and we thank you for joining us.
2019
The main goal of the "All Paws on Deck" street fair is to collect funds that can be donated to the Southwest Washington Humane Society and the West Columbia Gorge Humane Society. This event will be fun for people (and pups) of all ages. There will be food, shopping, competitions, face painting, crafts, and the Camas mayor will be crowning the "Dog Mayor" of the city of Camas.
"We wanted to host an event that would be fun for everyone. We wanted to do something for our community that brought joy and positivity to everyone" says Megan Bauer, the leader of the chapter project. Megan is a 2019-2020 DECA officer for the CHS DECA, a business program at the high school. This event is just the beginning for these teens. They will be working hard the upcoming school year to collect as many donations and funds as they can. They hope to raise over $1,500 by the end of their project.
